Auction buying
We buy leaf tobacco on the auction floors and inspect every lot before bidding.
MOROZ Tobacco buys leaf tobacco on the African auction floors through the selling season. Our buyers work on site, so the decision to bid is based on the leaf in front of them rather than on a description.
Every lot is inspected before we bid, which lets us pick leaf that matches the sample you approved and keeps surprises out of the shipment.
How it works
- Agree the leaf type and the specification with your team
- Inspect lots on the floor and select the ones that fit
- Bid and buy on your behalf
- Hand the purchased leaf over to grading and export
